Social Participation
With the corporate vision of BenQAUO Group Lionel of ''Realizing the Truth, Goodness and Beauty of Technology Life, BenQ Materials is committed to fulfilling its social responsibility and continuously promoting various sustainable actions, including environmental sustainability and social care. To implement this philosophy, in addition to regular charitable donations, BenQ Materials focuses on four main pillars: "Charitable Care, Rooted Education, Green Action, and Art and Culture." It provides a "Paid Volunteer Day" to encourage employees to participate in voluntary activities autonomously, combining various local care programs with the aim of addressing social issues and continuously contributing to the land of Taiwan.

Vision Hope Project
“Healthy vision creates brighter and more colorful lives” has been the original aspiration and guiding belief behind Miacare, BenQ Materials’ vision care brand. In collaboration with Kobayashi Optical and local Taiwan Fund for Children and Families (TFCF) branches, BenQ Materials provides free prescription lenses while Kobayashi Optical contributes eyewear frames, enabling children from low- and lower-income families across Taiwan to receive prescription glasses free of charge.

The Vision Care Hope Project has been implemented for nearly 12 years. In 2025, a total of 277 students completed eyewear fitting services, bringing the cumulative number of beneficiaries to 2,895 individuals. However, while expanding support for children with vision care needs, we discovered that fewer than 70% of approved applicants actually completed the eyewear fitting process.
Through in-depth discussions with the Taiwan Fund for Children and Families, we learned that this gap largely stems from caregiving challenges faced by disadvantaged households and grandparent-led families. To ensure resources are utilized more effectively, BenQ Materials officially launched the Vision Care Hope Project Tracking Platform in 2025. Leveraging a QR code-enabled digital tracking mechanism integrated into eyewear service cards, the platform enhances coordination efficiency among BenQ Materials, the Taiwan Fund for Children and Families, and Kobayashi Optical, while improving transparency in tracking the eyewear fitting process. This initiative not only enables real-time monitoring of implementation outcomes, but also facilitates root cause analysis for incomplete cases, thereby maximizing resource effectiveness and increasing the accessibility of vision care support for vulnerable children.
